The Place: This beautiful lagoon on the Sardinian island of Sant' Antioco is the perfect place to make that breakthrough to the next level of windsurfing.
With consistent year round wind and flat water this spot is great for learning and also home to some impressive freestyle windsurfers.
The traditional town of Sant' Antioci offers some beautiful culture and great Italian food.
Coaching: Coaching will be run by Colin and assisted by Tony Frey. Coaching runs Monday to Saturday, with change over day on Sunday at a cost of £400 per week (440€).
level: Intermediate planing. Participants should have some windsurfing experience and be sailing on a board without a daggerboard. This clinic will cover controlled planing using footsteps and harness, waterstarting and the entrance to carve gybe.
conditions: At this time of year we expect winds of around 4 Beaufort. The lagoon has flat water and is shallow for some distance from the beach, so it is the perfect place for learning to waterstart and plane.
Travel: Fly to Cagliari Airport and the we recommend to rent a car to travel the island and also to easily get from the accommodation to the spot each day.
the package: We will be staying at B&B Domo Sa Barra. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, free wifi, relaxation area, outdoor terrace. Spacious and bright, they are suitable for individuals or couples.
Kit rental will be from Windsurf Club Sa Barra.

What else the town offers: The island of Sant'Antioco is rich in beaches, many of which are quite wild. In Sant'Antioco village, there is also the opportunity to visit an archaeological site of the Roman period. By ferry, you can reach the nearby island of Carloforte.
Temp: The temperature is starting to heat up in May but most people will still be wearing a summer 3:2 wetsuit on the water.

Windsurf shoes or boots are recommended as the lagoon has a rocky bottom.
